Aftera30minuteincubation,theplateiswashedtoremovereactantsinthefluidphase.Onlyconjugatethatwasboundtothealbuminontheplateremains,anditisdetectedusingTMBinachromogenicreaction.Colorintensityisinverselyproportionaltothelogarithmofthealbuminconcentrationinthefluidphase.Theassaymaybecompletedinlessthananhour.
